Penn & Teller Performance!

Special opportunity to see Penn & Teller for supporters of the Food Bank of Waterloo Region and Magicana.

On November 10, 2008, world famous entertainers Penn & Teller will be performing a private show for employees of Sandvine Corporation at Centre in the Square in Kitchener.

Known for their outrageous blending of smart comedy and magic that often skewers the genre of traditional magic, Penn & Teller´s live show has been a hit in Vegas, on Broadway and around the world. Their edgy, provocative and hilarious show delivers many surprises and can involve knives, guns, a fire-eating showgirl and a duck. Check out their website www.pennandteller.com for more.

Sandvine and Penn & Teller have very generously donated a block of approximately 200 tickets to two charitable organizations - the Food Bank of Waterloo Region and Magicana, (an organization dedicated to the exploration of magic as a performance art and to increase the public's understanding of this art).

This block of tickets will be located in the upper balcony of the theatre and will be the only tickets available to the general public for this show.

Tickets will be available from Center in the Square starting at 10am on Saturday September 27th at a cost of $50 per ticket (donations in excess of the $50 minimum will be accepted). One hundred percent of the proceeds from these ticket sales will be split between the Food Bank and Magicana.

Tickets may be purchased:
  1. In person at Center in the Square
  2. Online: www.centre-square.com
  3. By telephone at 519-578-1570 or 1-800- 265- 8977
Tickets ordered by telephone or via the internet are subject to the Centre's normal service charges. There are no fees for in person purchases.

This is a very rare opportunity as Penn & Teller's current arrangement in Las Vegas means they rarely perform live outside of that city. We are extremely grateful to Sandvine and Penn & Teller for providing this opportunity to our supporters.

The show is expected to be about 60 minutes in length and is not recommended for children under 13.
